Led by ThickSkin, Wigan’s own award winning theatre company, this is a new creative space that will celebrate drama, comedy, dance, and music.

Born out of the need for a creative space in Wigan where all are welcome, The Engine Room has transformed an industrial landmark into a creative force.
Driven by the minds behind ThickSkin Theatre and supported by Forging The Future and Wigan Council, this is a venue that will showcase the very best of Wigan talent. Expect to see theatre, dance, music and comedy that will make you look once, twice and three times, driving home just what Wigan can be.
There will be a focus on new talent, as well as established artists. We’re out to surprise a few people.
