THE QUEST FOR PLANET P
March 21
At 11am and 2pm
a brand new, rhyming story presented by KnottedHawk Productions.
Follow Ozmo & Orbi, two brave little aliens, as they set off on an amazing journey to find the perfect planet! When cracks start appearing and chaos hits their world, the grown-up aliens can't agree on how to fix things. So, it's up to Ozmo & Orbi to lead the way and find a new, perfect planet to live on. Along the way, they discover that the solution might be closer to home than they think.
A heartfelt and inspiring story about fighting for the planet we love and showing how even the smallest voices can have a BIG impact. Using projection, dance and storytelling, children interact with the performers throughout the show and take part in an engaging workshop exploring belonging, friendship and our world. This fun, interactive dance theatre show is perfect for children under 10 and their grownups.

FULL
An exploration into a dystopian future
Designed specifically for those identifying as mixed race/heritage artists in Greater Manchester, this day-long workshop taking place at HOME theatre, will explore the many themes of Danielle Henry's new play, FULL, and offers an insight into her practice.
The play follows the story of three mixed race women as they navigate a dystopian future that no longer has a place for them. When a community is marginalised, it invites the audience to ask, ‘who is to blame for this’?
The workshop will be led by Danielle and director Carla Henry, both artists of dual heritage, and will be an opportunity for the participants to offer their responses to the source material and explore ideas using the play as provocation. The play is currently in development and there will be a work in progress sharing at 3pm, Friday 27th March at The Engine Room, Wigan, supported by ThickSkin and Arts Council England.
Attendance at the sharing is required, allowing participants to reflect on its themes in the workshop. Both the sharing and workshop are free of charge and travel expenses can be provided, just let us know in your email if you need support.
